Tell us about yourself!
Hi, I’m Mio and, as my name suggests, I’m a physicist (well, currently in school to be). I’m 21 years old and I really just sing whatever I want, and I’m new to the community and want to meet new people! I’m going to be in a couple of collabs coming up soon, including the World of Teyvat CB, which will be my first one!
How'd you first become involved with the Youtaite community?
I was first involved when I created my idol group Soar Idols! We're a male cover group that covers different songs from Love Live, Readyyy Project and more. Ever since then, I've branched out and have done some solo covers myself. I've also been in some collabs that are in the works right now!
What made you wanna participate in chorus battles?
My first chorus battle will be the World of Teyvat, I've actually known about chorus battles for a while but I'm not really the type to get really competitive, I like to take my time with things in a chill environment, but I thought I should try it out once you know? Plus, I really love Genshin and I thought this would be my perfect introduction into participating in chorus battles!
What was your first CB?
How'd you become interested in being a Vocalist & Mixer?
I've been singing basically my entire life! In my first two years of college, I was a vocal performance and physics double major, but ultimately dropped the vocal major due to the large workload with both majors. Singing is still a huge hobby of mine, hence why I'm now a youtaite!
Mixing is something I've always wanted to learn doing. I'm not really good at it, but I'm slowly learning.
Any funny or amusing CB stories?
Aghhh not really CB, but youtaite related: This one's a little personal but it's kinda funny, I matched with someone on tinder and they told me they were a youtaite (I don't tell anyone irl I'm a youtaite hehe) and then I panicked and unmatched. If you're out there, I'm so sorry, it's not you, it's me
Any advice for people interested in CBs?
Try at least one! I mean I didn't think I would be interested in it at all but once I joined one I saw how fun it is, so even if you are interested in the slightest bit, I say go for it!
